Junior Year 2015-2016
MIAD

What sets this gallery apart from the others I went to is that this one featured work from seniors in numerous fields taught at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. This gallery allowed me to see the diverse fields that students in art and design schools can go into.

Gallery Mke- Marshall Building
|
This gallery was one of the smaller one in the Marshall Building. It featured mundane scenes from around Wisconsin. One thing I really liked about the piece was that you could see that a lot of detail and time was put into every single inch of the pieces.

Art Upstairs-Marshall Building
|
This gallery consisted of works from Patricia Gilman, Louis Burley-Wirth and Victorian Bein. One piece that really caught my attention at this gallery was the mechanical, fantasy like piece. This piece was a moving piece, the gears would spin causing different parts of the piece to move as well. The shadows created by the piece made it look like a galloping horse which I think was what the artist was trying to do.
